Welcome! Norma Henriquez PL is a small private practice specializing in mental health and substance abuse services for adults. The practice was established in 2017. There are now two convenient locations. The main office is located in Estero and a satellite office in Naples. Telemedicine appointments are also offered for both psychiatry and psychotherapy (please check with your insurance provider to ensure coverage). Norma Henriquez PL has 3 providers on staff including Norma Henriquez, MD, Evelyn Carbonell, LCSW, and Kathryn Beer, LMHC.

‍Norma Henriquez is a Medical Doctor (MD)/Psychiatrist and has been working in the mental health field for over 42 years. She served in the United States Navy. She is licensed in Florida as well as in New Mexico. She has worked in a variety of settings including crisis stabilization, inpatient, outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization. Dr. Henriquez is bilingual in Spanish and provides treatment to individuals 18 years of age and older. Aside from her private practice, she continues to work at Saluscare and the Salvation Army. ​

‍Evelyn Carbonell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida. She provides individual, family, and couples therapy. She has worked in the mental health field for over 35 years, and employs a holistic, individualized approach to treatment. Evelyn is bilingual in Spanish and provides treatment to individuals 18 years of age and older. She has evening and weekend hours available. ​

‍Kathryn (Katie) Beer is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She is currently the Clinical Director as well as completes psychosocial assessments as needed. She has 11 years of experience managing offices/treatment facilities and over 15 years of experience in the mental health field.
